Europe is incredibly versatile and also has quite a few undiscovered places. Whether you love nature or prefer culture, Europe always has something to offer. The history of many European countries goes back so far that this continent is full of culture and history. Not to mention nature… Although many European countries are quite small – compared to the rest of the world – each country has its own identity.
Spain – Formentera
Formentera is the most beautiful island in Spain, also one of its best kept secrets. It is Ibiza’s little sister (an hour’s boat ride) that is even more beautiful. Formentera is not big and you don’t have to stay there long, but this island is so incredibly beautiful. An island without traffic lights or large, luxurious hotels, but with nature in abundance and the most beautiful beaches of the Mediterranean. Here you come to relax and de-stress, it is the place where you will become completely zen again. Anyone who has ever been to the Caribbean will recognize the beaches on Formentera, but that while you are really ‘normal’ in Europe. A number of highlights: Pearly white (empty) beaches, clear blue water, relaxed hippie atmosphere, no large-scale hotel chains and good restaurants. Special sea grass filters the water around Formentera, making the water even cleaner.

Croatia
To make a round trip through the whole of Croatia you need a month, but you can choose to visit a part of the country. Croatia is a fairly large country, and especially long, and has countless sights. For example, very beautiful natural spots, but also cities with a lively history and culture. Greece – Santorini
Greece has a lot of islands, but if you can choose one, go to Santorini. The quintessential Greek island, famous and loved. And a picture to see. The photos of Oia’s famous white houses with blue roofs are going around the world. Santorini belongs to the islands of the Cyclades and a lot of holidaymakers know how to find this island in the summer. What they find is a magically beautiful island, a white wonder.

Portugal – Algarve
Algarve is beautiful and its beaches are among the most beautiful holiday destinations in Europe. In any case, the region has all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday in the sun, where you can simultaneously visit villages, eat out, but also go on hiking trips and take part in water activities. city, beach and history come together in this way.

Cinque Terre – Italy
On the south side of Genoa you will find one of the most breathtaking stretches of coast in all of Italy. In the coves of high cliffs are five small, charming villages that are collectively called Cinque Terre. They have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for their ‘exceptionally scenic landscape’. And the charm of the towns is truly irresistible. Around the villages you will find steep cliffs but also citrus and olive groves.

Cappadocia – Turkey
Cappadocia is a region in Turkey that has become especially famous for hot air balloon rides. You may have seen the photos on Instagram. dozens of hot air balloons fill the sky at sunrise. Cappadocia is famous and such a popular bucket list item because nature has formed something spectacular here. Although many go to Cappadocia to also take that balloon flight, that does not make it any less special. The more balloons in the sky, the better the view.

Côte d’Azur and Monaco – France
The Côte d’Azur in the south of France is known for its jet-set image, but you can also enjoy a wonderful holiday there. In the summer months the sun shines continuously and the many beautiful cities and towns on the coast are the perfect base for a nice summer holiday in Europe. And how about the azure blue Mediterranean Sea and the wonderful beaches? Nice, Cannes and St. Tropez are just a few places on the wonderful Côte d’Azur. Provence – France
Yes, we will stay with France for a while, you can also put Provence on your bucket list. lavender fields as far as the eye can see. That’s what Provence in France is known for. You can find everything there. You have beautiful nature reserves such as the Luberon and the Camargue and charming cities such as Avignon and Marseille. Everywhere you will find extensive lavender fields, beautiful lakes and long rivers. You can also go kayaking in the Gorges du Verdon or snorkeling in the Calanques.

Trolltunga – Norway
Norway is a bizarrely beautiful country with many beautiful landscapes. One of the most beautiful and famous places in the country has to be Trolltunga. Trolltunga is one of the most scenic and spectacular cliffs in Norway.
